Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 May 2026
Heartkeep is a personal relationship companion app made by Huygen Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.
What we collect
- Account info — email and a display name when you sign in.
- Check-ins & reflections — what you write stays yours; we store it so your streak and history work across devices.
- Device & usage data — anonymous events (screens viewed, features used) via PostHog, used to improve the app.
- Purchase data — handled by Google Play / App Store and RevenueCat; we never see your card details.
- Push tokens — only if you opt in to daily reminders.
How we use it
- Run the app — show your streak, sync your reflections, send the reminders you enabled.
- Keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
- Understand what's working and what's not, in aggregate.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising in the app.
Who we share with
Only the providers we need to run Heartkeep:
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
- RevenueCat — subscription state and receipt validation.
- PostHog — anonymous product analytics.
- Firebase — push notifications.
Your rights
- Export — email heartkeep.me@gmail.com for a copy of your data.
- Deactivate — use Settings → Deactivate account, or visit heartkeep.me/deactivate-account.
- Opt out — disable notifications and analytics in Settings at any time.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. After deactivation we erase it within 30 days, except where law requires we keep certain records longer (e.g. payment receipts).
Children
Heartkeep is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
